"Paradise: Alice's Longest Night" (楽園 ―アリスの一番長い夜―, Rakuen -Arisu no Ichiban Nagaiyo-) is the seventh episode of the KimiSen anime series.
Synopsis[]
Alice is forced to kidnap Iska. Afraid of what will happen to him if word gets out, Alice orders Rin to take them to the Prison Sector to decide their next move. Meanwhile, the members of Unit N07 infiltrate the Sovereignty to get Iska back.
Summary[]
Alice and Rin are on their way home with an unconscious Iska in the back seat. The princess can't help but point out the dangers of having a former Saint Disciple with them. As such, Rin heads out to the nearest territory of Nebulis Sovereignty.
At the Imperial Senate, Risya informs them about the current situation and the Emperor's wishes. Risya tells the Senate that the Ice Calamity Witch is taking Iska to the Sovereignty's thirteenth province, Alcatroz, the Prison Sector. She also informs them about her rescue plan. Afterward, Risya tells the rest of the Unit N07 about the plan. To go through undetected, Risya stamps artificial astral crests to the hands of each member.
At Alcatroz, Iska wakes up and realizes that Rin and Alice drugged him. The trio arrived at a hotel. At the same time, Unit N07 is granted passage to the city.
Rin suggests putting Iska in chains to prevent him from escaping. Plus, he's a dangerous swordsman. But Alice declines. When the princess leaves, Rin comes with a plan to deal with Iska. She will falsely claim that Iska attacked her and she fought back in self-defense. However, Alice walks in and sees that Rin is trying to kill Iska.
Meanwhile, Unit N07 is in the prison tower trying to find Iska. However, Jhin believes there's something else playing a larger role here. At the hotel, Alice chains herself to Iska to prevent him from escaping. Nevertheless, when Iska spots Alice's astral crest, the latter questions what Iska thinks about the mages. He replies with his captain's situation, that even though she has a crest, he will still respect her. The reason that he fights is not because of the astral crest. He sees Alice as a rival on the battlefield. This revelation makes Alice feel happy.
At the prison, Risya visits Salinger, the Transcendent Demon.
