Jhin Syarlagun is a supporting character in KimiSen. He is a member of Unit 907, serving as their sniper.
Appearance[]
Jhin is a tall, lean boy with short silver hair, which he keeps spiked up.
He wears the male version of Empire's military uniform, which consists of a white turtleneck, black pants and boots. The turtleneck is worn with a black garment with golden linings on top, which leaves the sides exposed.
But unique to Jhin, he wears a gun holster in his right thigh and a bag to carry his sniper rifle on his back, which is strapped to his body from his right shoulder.
Personality[]
Jhin is calm and remains composed under any circumstances. He is the most clever member of the team, often analyzing the situation at hand to draw a logical conclusion. For instance, he recognized Astral Mages pretending to be Imperial soldiers by the way they were using their assault rifles. In fact, even Risya acknowledged his sharpness, desiring for the boy to work under her in the future.[1]
He is also quite sardonic, often making dry quips and other witty remarks, even during serious moments. In particular, he likes to pick on Mismis because of her childish tendencies. Despite this, he deeply cares for her and the rest of his comrades. When he met Lord Mask for the first time, Jhin had shown a silent rage in his voice, desiring to beat the purebred for kicking Mismis into the Vortex and causing her current suffering.
Abilities[]
- Peak Physical Abilities: Having gone through the same intense training as Iska and being among the final two candidates, it can be assumed that Jhin possesses greater physical abilities and senses than most humans. Alongside Iska, he's usually the first to sense and react to attack. He's fast enough to react to surprise attacks from a teleporter.
- Combat Perception: After reading the terrain and the direction of the wind, Jhin could see the movements of the enemy, right down to the trajectory of their fired shots. He could even predict what their next move is going to be. This was shown when he readied his left arm to shoot, knowing that Lord Mask would break pattern and go after his right arm instead of his back.[2]
- Master Gunmanship: Jhin is a remarkably skilled sniper, possessing enough skill to shoot the seams of armor with little to no visibility by remembering where his enemies were standing.[3] While he mainly uses a sniper rifle, he is also capable with smaller guns and other firearms. During the mission for the Vortex, Jhin took into account the different air resistances between flares and regular bullets, and adjusted appropriately.[4]

Trivia[]
- His name most likely came from Jhin, another sniper from the MOBA game League of Legends. In fact, when author Sazane Kei was asked what was his favorite game in an AMA, he replied with "I really like League of Legends. I'm really familiar with TSM and cloud9 and I always tune in to those tournaments."[5]
- Both Jhin and Sisbell have odds. Ironically they both have the same english voice actors as "Tatsuya Shiiba" and "Minami Sakurai" from "the Irregular at the Magic High School", who have a cousin-like relationship.
