Synopsis

The Nebulis Sovereignty and the Empire are embroiled in a war without end. The Ice Calamity Witch, a Nebulis mage of incredible power, and Iska, the youngest swordsman of the Empire ever to become a Saint Disciple, find themselves face-to-face on the battlefield. Each seeks to bring a close to this ceaseless conflict. Little do they know, however, that their meeting will be the catalyst that shapes the fate of the world!

Summary

Iska is released from life imprisonment. He was sentenced for assisting a witch‘s jailbreak and released due to him being the only one capable of wielding Astral Swords.

He gathers his three comrades together: Jhin, Nene, and Mismis. When Iska faces the witch, who calls herself Alice, she finds he is harder to defeat than anticipated. Iska sees her face, as he is the first imperial to do so.

Alice and Iska cross paths again in the neutral city, as it seems the two get flustered around one another. It seems they are bound to run into one another more and more.
