Mizerhyby Hydra Nebulis IX is a member of the Hydra, one of the three royal families in the Nebulis Sovereignty.
Appearance[]
Mizerhyby is a beautiful woman with long blue hair and red eyes. She was originally blonde, but her hair changed to blue when her powers appeared.[1] She wears a white dress with bits of rainbow color in the design.
When she is angry, her long lapis lazuli hair is swept in all directions because of the astral energy that she emanates. Her strands of hair writhe like serpents, giving her the appearance of the Greek Medusa.[2]
Personality[]
Like Talisman, Mizerhyby appears to be a graceful and collected person on the outside, but she is secretly calculative and prone to anger. When Talisman asked for her opinion on Lord Mask's proposal, she correctly identified the issues that would come from awakening the Revered Founder. To begin with, being the next queen would be meaningless if Nebulis was still around, not to mention the possibility that the founder had an astral power that could expose the Hydra's treachery.
History[]
Mizerhyby is the Hydra's candidate for queen. As a descendant of the Founder, she has a powerful astral power – the ability to empower other Astral Mages. It's rumored that during a battle, she was able to empower ten soldiers to be as powerful as the Founder's descendants. Because of her powers, she is called the "walking vortex".
Synopsis[]
Volume 8[]
When Unit 907 infiltrated Snow and Sun hoping to find Sisbell, they found Mizerhyby waiting for them instead. She activates the traps inside and forces everyone to flee, except Iska. Although she initially mistakes him for Salinger's subordinate, as the two coincidentally attacked the facility at the same time, Mizerhyby soon realizes her mistake and correctly identifies him as the former Saint Disciple Iska.
Soon, two royal guards drop down from the upper floor, and Mizerhyby grants them enough firepower to turn the room into a fiery hellscape. To her surprise, Iska appears from the smoke and manages to steal the Gregorian Descant. Even though Iska escaped immediately after, an angry Mizerhyby finds him and empowers herself to attack him. However, because of Iska's superior fighting skills, Mizerhyby is not able to land a hit and has her elbow injured by Iska.
As a result, she summons "Shriek", who forces Iska into an airtight room since he is defenseless against sonic attacks. Rather than attacking from the door, another soldier, "Hellfire", blows up the wall adjacent to the next room over, revealing Mizerhyby and her 5-man legion. Although Iska cuts Hellfire's attack and returns it to the legion, "Tempest" shields the group with a wind barrier.
Having enough, Mizerhyby orders her legion to attack all at once to obliterate Iska, but their surroundings are suddenly destroyed by whirlwinds and lightning. The legion is struck down and Iska flees during the commotion, all while an unknown figure approaches Mizerhyby. She recognizes him as Salinger and tells him that she doesn't have the Gregorian Descant, but the sorcerer knows the truth and asks for the "real" descant. The last thing that could be seen is a wave of astral energy shaking the facility as the two prepare to fight.
Volume 12[]
Volume 13[]
The House of Hydra set out to assassinate Elletear at the planet's core. On the way there, Talisman tells Mizerhyby that they must not destroy the Great Star Calamity since it would mean losing all of their astral powers. Agreeing with the sentiment, she tells him that she would rather lose everything she has than give up her powers.
They eventually reach Elletear and attack her with soldiers empowered with Glory, but they soon fall victim to Elletear's Requiem of the Stars. However, to Elletear's confusion, Mizerhyby is able to resist it because astral energy flows throughout her entire body, weakening the song and preventing it from attacking the heart. Talisman also resists it and outsmarts Elletear, seemingly killing her. Mizerhyby admires and praises Talisman, but suddenly Elletear grabs Talisman and tells him that they'll enjoy despair together. All Mizerhyby can do is watch helplessly and listen to Talisman's screams.
Light Novel Volume 14[]
Mizerhyby team up with Shanorotte Gregory attempting to destroy the Heavenly Empire, but were confronted by Alice, Kissing and Mismis Klass (who are attempting to persuade her and Shanorotte).
Light Novel Volume 15[]
Abilities[]
Glory: Mizerhyby's Astral Power releases a bright astral light that strengthens other Astral Mages to their highest potential, enough to rival the founder's descendants, but it also puts them under her control.[2] Those under Glory's effect have Mizerhyby's astral crest burning bright in their backs, like a dawning light, which is why they are called Mizerhyby's "Legion of Dawn".
Equipment[]
Gregorian Descant: Mizerhyby's earring. The original descant contains records of the Hydra's experimentations and other confidential documents, but the earring is just a replica that contains fragments of it.

Trivia[]
- Mizerhyby's Astral Crest is located in her forehead, but it's normally hidden by her bangs.[2]
