The Nelka Forest serves as the border between the Empire and Sovereignty. It is known for its Nelka trees, which measure a hundred feet high.
History[]
Unit 907 was assigned to the base in Nelka since the Ice Calamity Witch was expected to come. On the way to the frontlines, they were ambushed by a squadron of Astral Mages, but Iska and Jhin swiftly defeated their attackers. However, an even stronger astral mage appeared, causing Iska to stay behind as his team rushed to respond to the urgent request for backup.
Iska fought the mage on his own very easily, but was taken back by the sudden arrival of the Ice Calamity Witch, who used her astral power to freeze the entire forest. The Imperial reactor was also frozen, destroying it. In the end the two mages retreated, leaving the forest to unfreeze on its own.

Nelka Strategic Base[]
A base in Nelka that had been established deep in the forest, located two miles away from the battlefront. Because of the cover provided by the enormous trees, the facility was fairly hidden until recently. A new reactor was being constructed in order to power up a newly developed weapon, possibly artillery, but was left incomplete because manpower was being redirected to defend against the astral mages.[1]

- During the hundred year war, about 15% of the world's forests had burned down, but luckily Nelka wasn't one of them.[1]
