Yunmelngen is the capital of the Heavenly Empire.
Overview[]
Yunmelngen is a metropolis that boasted the highest population in the world. As the heart of the Empire, it is the most secure city in the entire nation. It counts with innumerable astral energy detectors hidden throughout the city: from the streets, to grocery store doors, or even public bathhouses.[1]
History[]
A hundred years ago, the Grand Witch Nebulis burned down the entire capital of their oppressors, Yunmelngen. But just like a phoenix, the capital had risen out of the ashes stronger than before, laying the foundations for the steel city from the present.[2] To prevent a similar tragedy from happening again, the city was now made up of fire-resistant structures.
Locations[]
The capital is divided into three sectors:
Sector One: The sector that houses government buildings and research institutes. Those who carry the greatest authority within the Empire gather here to discuss politics, including the Eight Great Apostles.[3]
Sector Two: The residential area where 70% of the city's resident live in. Next to it is the world's most prominent business district, attracting many tourists from the neutral cities each day.[3]
Sector Three: It contains the military bases, including the barracks where Iska and the other Imperial soldiers sleep at. The manufacturing plants that make the weapons designed in Sector One are also here, in addition to the facilities that test them out.[3]
